Lingao Nuclear Power Station
The Lingao Nuclear Power Plant was the second large commercial nuclear power plant in Guangdong that the State Council decided to build when the first unit of the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant was successfully put into operation in February 1994.
Ling Ao Nuclear Power Plant Phase II is the third large-scale commercial nuclear power plant constructed in Guangdong after Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant and Ling Ao Nuclear Power Plant Phase I. The project plans to construct two million-kilowatt pressurized water reactor nuclear power units. In March 2004, Ling'ao Phase II was listed as a national nuclear power autonomous dependent project; in July 2004, the State Council approved the construction; in December 2005, construction officially started; the two units were on July 15, 2010 and August 2011, respectively It was completed and put into commercial operation on July 7.
The second phase of Ling'ao Nuclear Power Plant uses CPR1000, China's improved pressurized water reactor nuclear power technology line with its own brand. It is a demonstration project of China's own brand nuclear power technology CPR1000. It plays an important role in China's nuclear power development. Construction started on the 15th, and Unit 1 was put into commercial operation on July 15, 2010.
Nanfeng Co., Ltd. is the general contractor of the nuclear island HVAC equipment of Lingao Nuclear Power Plant Phase II project. The company obtained the A-level equipment qualified supplier performance certificate issued by CGNPC Engineering Co., Ltd.
